There are still a few months of golf season left! So get out there and take advantage of these courses right here in Henry County.
Eagle’s Brooke Golf & Country Club – Locust Grove
o Features two sets of tees for different skill levels
o The course measures 7,400 yards from the longest tees. The greens are L-93 Bentgrass, and the fairways are Bermuda grass.
Cotton Fields Golf Club – McDonough
o A beautiful 18-hole course designed on 150 acres with practice greens, a pro shop, a snack bar, and a spacious outdoor pavilion.
Crystal Lake Golf & Country Club – Hampton
o The putting greens are Bentgrass, and the perimeter roughs and bunker faces are reminiscent of many legendary Scottish designs.
o The course measures 7,203 yards, with tee boxes, fairways, and roughs that are lushly covered in Bermuda.
Rum Creek Golf – Stockbridge
o Rum Creek Golf features a driving range and a 9-hole Par 3 executive golf course. The driving range offers grass tees as well as artificial turf hitting stations and a 12-acre landing area with numerous target greens. All holes have 3 sets of tees.
Golfers, don’t miss the 17th Annual Henry County Chamber Golf Classic on September 25, 2017. Registration is at 8am, with Shotgun starting at 10am. This Golf Classic presented by the Henry County Chamber of Commerce will be held at the Eagle’s Brooke Golf & Country Club. As usual, there will be cash prizes for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place teams and a cash prize for the putting green contest.
