When the Austrian plastics manufacturer Alpla originally located in Henry County in 2001, the facility was designed as a manufacturing plant, but has grown to become the company’s North American headquarters and Technical Center. Luxottica Group, a leading eyewear designer, manufacturer and distributor, recently created 1,000 jobs with the expansion of its North American location in Henry County.

The Henry County Development Authority is working to attract more foreign investment to Henry County. In fact, HCDA is a member of the European American Investment Council (EAIC), LP and the Transatlantic Business and Investment Council (TBIC).
