Christmas Tree Lighting & Holiday Experience – Tanger Outlets, Locust Grove
Kick off the season (before Thanksgiving) at the Tanger Outlets Tree Lighting on November 17 from 6pm to 8pm. Welcome Santa as he arrives on his sleigh and enjoy caroling, s’mores and hot cocoa at Santa’s Sweet Station. Children’s crafts, special shopping deals and prizes will also be offered.
Christmas in the Country – Southern Belle Farm, McDonough
Southern Belle Farm will be open for their Farmstead Christmas Season, November 20-December 17. Their “Christmas in the Country” celebrations include sipping on a cup of hot spiced apple cider, munching on homemade cookies, listening to Christmas carols, and taking a festive hayride! They will offer pictures with Santa and have fresh pre-cut Fraser Fir Christmas trees shipped in from Boone, North Carolina, along with fresh greenery, handmade wreaths, holiday decorations and more. It’s a one-stop shop for holiday fun!
Christmas Trees – Yule Forest, Stockbridge
The Yule Forest Christmas Tree Farm opens Thanksgiving Day, November 23, and will be open 9am to 6pm daily through the holiday season for families to choose and cut their own Christmas trees! Pre-cut trees, wreaths and garlands will also be available for purchase.
Tree Lighting – Locust Grove
Locust Grove will light its Christmas tree the night of Thanksgiving, November 23, at 6pm. This special tree lighting ceremony and visit from Santa will be at the Locust Grove Municipal complex.
Tree Lighting – Hampton
The City of Hampton tree lighting will take place on Thanksgiving night, November 23, at 7pm in Depot Park. There will be Christmas carols, complimentary hot cocoa, cookies and the lighting of the 25-foot tree, followed by the Christmas Parade from 7-9pm.
Santa Photos – Heritage Garden, McDonough
Photos with Santa Claus will be available in the beautifully decorated Heritage Garden at Heritage Park in McDonough on November 25 from 10am to 2pm. The event is hosted by Community Gardens of Henry County and the cost is $5 per photo, to be delivered electronically. Crafts and refreshments will also be available. Proceeds will help provide garden plots for families and will go toward Helping Harvest to feed those in need.
Santa Photos – Tanger Outlets, Locust Grove
Pose for professional photos with Santa at Tanger Outlets starting on November 25. Santa will be seated in the commons area near Old Navy and HANESbrands.
