One Henry – People. Partnerships. Economic Prosperity.
One Henry, a collaborative effort of a diverse group of Henry County leaders, builds on the positive things already taking place in Henry County while providing more opportunities for the county’s continued growth and business attraction. To put it simply, One Henry’s efforts include: People, Partnerships, and Economic Prosperity.
Geoff Cauble (Chairman, Henry County Development Authority) and Leonard Moreland (President & CEO, Heritage Bank), co-chairs for the group, know the work ahead will not be quick, but in the end it will be rewarding for all citizens of Henry County.
“We have an opportunity in life to stand by and watch things happen around us, or we can participate and try to shape the future,” said Moreland. ”The One Henry project provides an opportunity for leaders and community members in Henry County to try and build a better Henry County for the next generations to come.”
This week marked the launch of One Henry’s new website, www.OneHenry.info. The new website provides valuable information about the One Henry initiative and how to get involved as well as highlighting Henry County attractions and resources. In addition to the new website, One Henry is launching a social media campaign, which includes Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn, to further engage community stakeholders.
The Henry County Chamber of Commerce will do a presentation about One Henry for their March Business Boosters Luncheon called “One Henry Economic Alliance: Creating An Epic Henry.” Topics being discussed will include: the History of One Henry, the subcommittees and their specific focuses, and how you can be a part of making a difference for the future of Henry County’s economy.
The One Henry Professional Services and Corporate Solutions subcommittee will host a Business Breakfast later this month, which will provide another great opportunity to learn more about One Henry and to hear from community leaders across all sectors providing visionary plans for key focuses such as Workforce Development, Arts and Leisure, Professional Services and Corporate Solutions, Industrial Hub and Manufacturing, and Image and Communications.
Let us all continue working together as One Henry!
